What is FirstFoundationkids?
An early-learning website for children ages 2 to 7. It has 38 game worlds, Pip's Pond School for kindergarten through third grade practice, a Fruit & Veggie Book, and a Studio for painting, coloring and first computer skills. Pip the frog reads every question aloud.
Which ages is it for?
Ages 2 to 7, in three groups: Tadpoles (2–3), Froglets (4–5) and Jumpers (6–7). Each group gets its own version of every world, with 30 levels that get a little harder each time.
Does my child need to read?
No. Pip reads every question and answer out loud, and kids answer by tapping or by saying the answer. You can switch the voice off at any time.
Which devices work?
Any up-to-date web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. The mouse and keyboard worlds work best on a laptop or desktop, but tapping works too.
What is free?
Levels 1 to 3 of every age group in all 38 worlds, the Fruit & Veggie Book, Magic Paint, 3 Color Book pictures, Today's Hop, the School Day and stickers. No account or card needed.
How much does a plan cost?
Monthly is $9.99 a month. Yearly is $79.99 a year, which works out to about $6.67 a month. Family is $99.99 a year for up to 4 child profiles.
Is there a free trial?
No trial. Instead, the first 3 levels of every age group stay free, so you can try before you pay.
How do I cancel?
From My account, any time. Your plan stays open until the end of the period you paid for.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
No. A plan is the only purchase, and plan screens sit behind a grown-up check.
What do you collect about my child?
Only a first name or nickname, an age group, and game progress such as stars and stickers. No photos, location or contact details.
Do you share or sell personal details?
Never. Each family only sees its own account. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.
Does "Talk to answer" record my child?
No. It uses your browser's built-in speech recognition, and we do not record or keep any audio. Depending on your browser, the browser maker may process the speech to turn it into text.
Can I limit screen time?
Yes. On the parent page, set a daily limit from 15 to 60 minutes. When time is up, Pip says goodbye and only a grown-up can add more.
How do levels work?
Each level is 5 rounds and takes about 3 minutes. Stars are for rounds answered right on the first try. Levels get harder as they go up.
Does it help with school?
Yes, that is what Pip's Pond School is for. Its short lessons practice skills commonly taught in kindergarten through third grade: listening to and reading short stories, sight words, handwriting, math word problems, telling time and early science. It is extra practice for home and does not replace your child's teacher or school.
What is Today's Hop?
Three short games picked each day for your child's age group. Finish all three to grow a daily streak and win special stickers.
What prizes can my child win?
A sticker for each world finished with 3 or more stars, a silver medal at level 15 and a gold trophy with a certificate at level 30. Every medal and trophy also unlocks a new hat or outfit for Pip. Rewards are just for fun and have no money value.
Can siblings have their own progress?
Yes. The Family plan has up to 4 child profiles, and each child keeps separate stars, stickers, prizes and streaks. Pick who is playing at the top of the Play page.
Is the content checked?
We design every game to be age-appropriate and check it with care, but mistakes can happen. Parental guidance is recommended. If you spot an error, please email us so we can fix it.
